The night was cold and it felt so good been covered in a warm blanket and feeling my wife's warmth so close to me. I turned to look at the time hoping it will be somewhere around 02hrs in the morning so that i can just sleep some more but couldn't believe my eyes, it was already 05:30hrs, i had to get ready in the next 10 minutes or i will be late for work.
I jumped out of bed, and rushed to the bathroom, i wanted to woke my wife to prepare me something to eat but i remembered that she told me last night that she was not feeling so good, so i figured it was better to let her rest. After having a quick bath, i rushed back to the bedroom, wondering what i am going to wear, just to be met by wife going to the kitchen.
"how are you feeling this morning dear?" i inquired as i passed her.
"much better, "she responded with a tired look on her face, "i still have a bit of headache."
I entered the bedroom, and just decided to were anything that will be easy to access, as i put on my shirt, i looked at my daughter fast asleep and she liked so beautiful and innocent, hard to believe this is the same little girl that was making so much noise and doing all sorts of gymnastics last night. We had to beg her and bribe her with playing a game on my phone just for us to get some sleep.
"So innocent" i thought to myself.
That reminds, my phone phone battery is low, better not forget the car charger. Rushed back to the living room and grabbed my laptop back and headed straight for the kitchen door.
"Can you manage to open the gate for me?" i asked my wife as i passed her in the kitchen preparing my son's lunch pack.
"yes, i will be coming?" She responded.
I got in the car and plugged in my my phone charger as her shadow passes by heading for the gate. I looked at the time and it was 06:11am.
I reversed the car, reached the gate, opened the window and kissed her.
"enjoy your day."
"you too," i responded as i reversed passed her.
That was how my morning started, lets hope i have the energy i need to conquer the day
